what quality are you after? capping something like DVB? high quality raw vid? or just from a digi camera (what megpix?) as you are using a windows mail client i am assuming windows OS. for the consumer market the best would be the pinnaclesys offerings of various levels. if you want pro-grade stuff you will pay a vastly larger sum. beware of the middle ground in the video market. the middle ground is either way more than you want to pay for what you actually use or is way less than you need if you are a vid pro. personally i have used the dazzle box for my uses for many years. dates back to before pinnacle bought them out. used on a long history of Macs from an old 6400PPC to my current G5X2 2mhz unit. only problem is that like the rest of the system upgrading to newer is always the norm. looking at getting another one now. jimt On Nov 20, 2005, at 3:27 AM, John Rodgers wrote: > Subject says it all.
