Actually a Syncro Westfalia did go speeding by me this morning on I580
westbound (toward San Francisco).  Kind of funny as I was doing about
70-72 and the syncro speeded by, right behind a real pretty Harley
Davidson Electraglide, which also speeded by.  I wondered if it was a
listmember and if they have an engine conversion - the person had
WetWesties stickers on both sides of his van.

Westfalia ---85    1.9 stock waterboxer


195 MPH top speed.  I live in Bellingham and can make it to Seattle (90
miles away)  in about  one-half hour, if the traffic is light.  Glad you
asked----as a Westfalia owner, speed has always been a top priority in
my life.
