After installation of a Subaru 2.2L engine, within the first 10 miles of driving after the conversion, I achieved 105 MPH ( vehicle was willing to go faster) in my '91 Carat automatic on Interstate 79 just south of Zelienople, PA. At that precise moment, I thought about what a deer jumping out on the highway would do to me and the van, and have never, ever, done it again.

I've had 112mph out of mine (3.8 Holden V6) several times, and it was rock-steady. -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
