I hate dealing with rejection myself. But I've figured out if you  cross the
double yellow line first, then wave, you're pretty  much guaranteed a
response.

Not that I've done a scientific study, but I've found you get the most
colorful responses from folks with a "War is Not the Answer"  bumper sticker.
