I think rainX is amazing stuff... wouldn't ever touch the wipers though... RainX has a habit of eating the rubber wiper material, and I wouldn't like to think of what it would do if applied directly to a wiper surface. I generally use the bosch generic wipers you can get from your FLAPS and they haven't done me wrong on my rx7 or jetta. my $.02 worth.
