Worn CV's clunk, loose CV's clunk, and so do shocks that are loose on the mount bolts.

If you know without doubt the CV's are good, then it is most likely a shock. Shocks are easy to check visually.

To check the CV's drive the van in a circle with the steering wheel all the way at the stops. Do it in both directions. If a CV has gon bad you will hear it.

To check the CV bolts, simply try them with the torque wrench. You might be able to shake the axle and see the CV move, but the surest check is simply to retorque the bolts. Over the years I have had CV bolts loosen several times.
