I have removed the gas tank and electric fuel pump on my 81 vanagon I put a tank inside trying to gravity feed I only want to move the bus in to my garage cant push it because IM on a small hill. I bought a new battery so i know that OK but cant get a sound from the motor i by passed the electric fuel pump do these have to be hooked up to get juice to the battery, IM a new owner so IM not sure if i disconnected that wont allow me to start it any info I will be happy for thanks,Neal
