Subject: Advice on 85 Vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hello,

I have a '85 Vanagon GL that I have put much work into but, sadly, it is not running now and I need to decide what I should do with it very soon. I am leaving the US and moving to Australia within the next 6 months. I've done the following to it:

Replaced the intake manifold and gaskets (the original had a rust hole) New front and rear brakes with new rear brake lines New Oxy Sensor, Air Flow Meter, Air lines Replaced the manual transmission fluid with synthetic New outside mirrors and antenna Cleaned/replaced ground wires

and lots of various other things that I can't remember right now. The van was stalling out when it warmed up and that's the problem it still has. I have a new fuel pump for it that I have yet to install, I thought that maybe the fuel pump was over heating. I need advice on whether I should sell it as is, and if so how much should I ask for it. Should I try to get it running again (it's very cold outside brrr!) and then sell it? Thanks.

Marty Detroit, Michigan
