Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I've been active on the list - I've spent the past six months in a small cabin in the woods in northeastern New Mexico with very limited access to the Internet.

Anyway, during that time I have decided to put a subie 2.2 in my bus. So, my 2.1 WBX is for sale. It is in the van now and runs good. It is an AVP rebuild with right at 35,000 miles on it. I have replaced, in addition to the new longblock, the distributor, AFM, alternator, temp II sensor, and recently a new Bosch 02 sensor.

What you get:

the COMPLETE ENGINE including ECU alternator power steering pump air conditioning compressor exhaust headers 2 AFMs 2 Throttle bodies other essentials and goodies that I cannot think of now

Price for everything: $600

If you are in need of an engine and peripheral components for your Vanagon, this is a good deal. You can drive the van and examine the engine if you are near, or want to come to, Norman, Oklahoma, which is about 15 miles south of Oklahoma City. I plan to drop the engine soon, so let me hear from you via p-mail if you're interested.

Warren Lail
