I've got an '80 and I understand the lack of heat...mine produces a minimal amount...just enough to keep frost off the windshield. I understand the need to have all the holes plugged and insulation if you need it but other than having the heater boxes, valves and hoses in good shape I wasn't sure where there was a thermostat?
