I picked up a couple Westy rotating seat bases yesterday. Got them real cheap because the dingbat who salvaged them only got the upper and the round plate that sits inside. Making up a serviceable lower mounting surface should be a snap, but I've never actually seen one! Is it not just essentially a flat plate with a circular stamped-in groove and a slot at the front for the rotation lock handle? -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" |
