for folks who just want a good quality ready-made LED flashlight,

i've used their Stylus series LED lights at work with great success
... the white LED light doesn't change the colors of wires inside
computers and on the backside of patch panels, which is helpful when
you're trying to decide what wires go where in the dark. ;) older
incandescent bulbs tended to blur some of the wire pairs to these old
eyes.
it has twist-on and push-button on.
anyway, some of the other guys at work took interest and got some of
the same Stylus lights and one guy left his on top of a switch over
the weekend ... monday morning it was still running. :)  so far, the
batteries last about a year in these things, and that's being used
several times a day at work. i carry mine around in my pocket (gotta
keep up the geek image!),
and keep one in each of the cars.  the goose-neck one is good for the
car, cause you can bend the neck into a hook and place it wherever and
that leaves both hands free. :)
