bruce.. we cant see attachments on the list. if the pattern on the seats is not colored rectangles with brown background (like we were talking about a few days ago as per the "Boogie Woogie" fabric) then they arent vw seats. you say the headrests are "built in" all vanagons have seperate headrests on the 2 metal posts that adjust up and down. the headrests should be the same as whats in your 84, except they wont have a 'hole" in the middle like the late model vanagon headrests do. also vanagon seats are not "bolted in". they slide on tracks. Honestly it sounds like someone bolted some other car seats in there from a different make....

anyway i have vanagon capt. chairs w/ armrests for sale, if you're interested. no mods. slide right in. nice upgrade for 80-84 westy.
