Subject: where to install the D1l-C in westy?

folks, i have an eberspacher D1L-C heater that i'm going to install in my westy. Oh but where???

I don't want to eliminate the rear heater core as i have kiddies that need heat, plus an additional 'radiator' in hot weather is nice on those really long slow climbs.

One idea is to move the rear core towards the slider 8", and then put the D1L-C next to the rear heater core, but unfortunatley the hot out and cold in will be ~18" or less apart, which should be ok. Moving the rear core will require me to fabricate a new piece of plywood for under the back seat though.

Phil's heater is in a nice place, but it would interfere with my jump seat.

If you have any ideas, please holler!

In addition, I may have another D1LC for sale. it is a 24V variety, but i'll include the high power 12->24V converter. Once I get the one to run in my bus, i'll make a decision on the extra one. I'd be looking for ~$450 for it.

Thanks for the help Matthew 86 syncro westy turbo diesel
