Subject:      Westy Christmas presents
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;

Well, I just got a really nice Christmas present from my friend who's been babysitting Matilda since September. She's been dripping a bit of oil for a while, and I've just been feeding her oil to deal with it. But he got on the Vanagon list to find out where to take her in Boulder, then took her in to find out what was wrong, and replaced both my oil sensors for me per the mechanic's instructions.

Sweet! Of course, I had given him a pretty plush and quite uncalled for birthday present a while back. But still! He's not even a Westy owner! He does have a VW, but I don't think a 2004 Passat is in the same league.

Now, if only she hadn't gotten broken into while in his custody - not that it was his fault! Teach me to leave all my stuff in the van for two months...

Joy
