My 87 syncro has always has a drip from the drain plug that I have not been overly concerned about. However, recently it has really been leaking a lot and I thought it was the plug, wrong! I thought it was the oil filter or perhaps the O ring behind the oil cooler so I just did an oil change and new filter, I also tightened the nut on the cooler, new fresh oil, started it up and its pouring out from under the van. Suggestions? Oil pump cover? Oil cooler O ring blew? Oil is literally pouring out now when it runs it's like you have a cap off of a quart and are pouring it out. Thanks, Doug |
