I've done this on a couple of vanagons. Take the burn out bulb into a flaps and get a duplicate or close to it. I got an exact match. If one flaps won't help, go to another. If you get stuck, email me and I will get extra bulbs when I go back as one van needs another now. Don't worry about the socked and broken clip, they're all that way. Solder the wires, tape/insulate where needed and affix with a dab of silicon adhesive so you can pop it back off when it blows again.
