Michael, The jumpseat is what we chose to put in our 87 Westy Syncro. It mounts behind the passenger front seat and can be removed in seconds or you can fold it up and leave it in place. We puchased ours from a list member for about $150.00 plus shipping. Most of the installation is easy, the only real challenge is attaching the lower brackets that the pegs on the bottom of the seat set into. With the jumpseat in place you have full access to all of the cabinets, fridge, sink/stove, etc, and can fold the lower bed down too. I could send you some photo's but our digital camera is broken.
