Hi Doug and family!

This is theskylightguys girlfriend, and I am from St. Augustine Florida. It is in N. Florida on the east coast between Jacksonville and Daytona beach. beautiful area, with several lovely beaches and very historically significant, Americas oldest city, Ponce De Leon (thought he)discovered the fountain of youth there......lots to see and do yet large quiet beaches too.......one of the only places left in the country where you can drive one the beach (although i wouldnt recommend it in a westy!) A wonderful State Park with a great campground.......Anastasia State Park.......right on the beach, here is a link to the park

Hi gang,

We're planning our annual spring break trek to Florida (me, wife, 16 year old daughter and daughter's best friend). In the past we've gone to Fort Pickens State Park near Pensacola Beach and been very happy with it --- one of it's appeals being is that it's in the north and within a 22 hour drive of Mississauga Ontario. Does anyone have other suggestions of good places in N Fla. We primarily like to just park the Westy overlooking the beach and take it very easy for a few days. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Cheers, Doug
