joel, yes, the rear side windows were available as sliding windows, this was
an option in europe..  i think chris gronski has one he bought off of ebay.de.

i think they will only fit the 80-87 vanagons though..not the 88-91 with the
vented rear side windows..
they are cool but hard to find..
