The 1989-2005 Hiace is a beautiful van. I had hoped that the
replacement would be of the same philospohy, rather than another
Transit clone. I was delighted toi find that the design was indeed in
the Hiace tradition, enlarged, but the styling... UGH!! You do get
used to it, but after the old model the new is pretty hard to take.

Funny, the Kia Pregio (what a name) was a blatant copy of the "old"
100-series Hiace styling. Wehn it was facelifted, guess what... it
had a ripodff of the new 2006 Hiace nose grafted on...
