Dang plywood junk is right.

Exactly what I did to mine after literally destroying mine a few years back when all I wanted to do was replace the dang busted cable. I recently obtained a nice chocolate brown 80-84 slider door panel from Karl von Salzen in Fresno, CA, so that I wouldn't have to look at the ugly metalwork interior of the door (and re-insulate against the cold too). -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 12/13/05, JordanVw@aol.com <JordanVw@aol.com> wrote: > > > 80-84 westy has that white luann plywood junk held on with exposed > snaps..like the rear hatch panel not a easy job to remove.. the 80-84 > pass vans have > the slider doorpanels lioke the front doorpanels. 85-91 westy slider > doorpanel is held on with the hidden plastic clips like the front > doorpanels...simple > to remove.. > > ps, i have a nice chocolate brown 80-84 slider doorpanel available, > matches > front westy doorpanels...this is the simple to remove variety :<) > > > > chris
