John, the tiny angle you mention was of no consequence when I did the conversion on mine. The window felt channel makes up for it. Since you are cutting the top and bottom frame to make the conversion the frame will contour to the opening and the glass will not mate perfectly but its very slight and it still seals fine.

It looks like the archives are working I was about to repost my conversion since I saw the thread, but you guys found my old post with the pics still working so no need. If anybody has questions about it p-mail me.

This is not the same obviously as the canada windows. I did mine on both sides, and I wanted to update to the 88 on air exhaust vents on my 87 syncro. I have been very happy with them, they allow in a good amount of fresh air into the back area when parked. Wish the rear hatch window would pop out a couple inches. I use suntex shades which act as a bug screen. All and all it was well worth the effort and puts to use those old sliders out the junk yard.

Rear windows aren't the same shape. they have a little angle to the aft part of the frame: <http://tinypic.com/fwlwg1.jpg>
