If this fails and you decide to destroy the cap, maybe just destroy the lock instead. Just put a big screwdriver in and turn. The wafers will cut thru the plastic and it will open. Now the new key is the screwdriver. Not a bad thing to have under the passenger seat anyway! Al Brase
