Good question. The engine has - 150k miles - low oil pressure (at hot idle the oil light flickers on, even when running mobil 1 15w50 with a mann filter). - head leaks (was burning about 1 quart of coolant per tank of gas) - broken valve, or worse: Check out the picture of the #1 spark plug. Would you rebuild this engine?

Wonder if I could pull the head w/o getting a ticket (I once got ticketed for doing a brake job on the street in Los Angeles.) How long does it take to pull a head? I have tools, but on street parking only.
