Gary,

Yes, I think it did take all of 4 hours for the job. Of course, the time was spread out over 2 days while we waited for the new starter to come in.

The right rear axle should be removed to make access easier. Also, my Syncro doublecab is equipped with front and rear differential locks. The rear differential lock servo needs to be removed in order to access the starter.
