I hope so, too. I recently picked up a ratty 93 EV for $300. Story was, it needed a head gasket. Maybe about 100 miles back. Now it has a ditch in the head and 5 damaged pistons. Idiots at the dealer left the valve cover off and the hood open, apparently. I drained the oil and found 2 gallons of rain water.. I think I've found an engine, so then we'll learn about the trannies. I'm kinda old fashioned, wish it were a a 5 speed! This EV sure is a change from a Vanagon! Al Brase
