Hi All, I was thinking that it might be a good idea, to lay a stretch of masking tape along side the door panels ( when removing them ) so that the putty knives don't scratch the paint?? best, JC... ps, I know, there are special tools for this :o)

Hmmm, my westy is an 84 w/ color matched little clips that are a PITA to remove in 1 piece, not scratch the panel, etc. Do later Westy's come w/ the hidden fasteners that can be easily popped off, or am I just an idiot like my wife says? All wives say this, & if it war true, Then, I couldn't ride a bike, In the pitch darkness, while doin tekeeela chooters !!!! :o) What?.....Oh yeah, I cant :o)
