RE: Auto Tranny Problem.... Just to prove my ignorance on this subject, how is the torque converter filled? Does it need to be filled by itself (like many older cars) or if it had drained out of the replacement tranny, would just filling the transmission also assure that the torque converter was also filled? I ask this because the symptoms Al describes could also be caused by a dry torque converter. |
