Hey Guys, (Bob, Doug, Mike, & Ken)
I got all of your comments & suggestions, THANKS A BUNCH!
I was reviewing them....
I have a few questions.
If you don't mind.

I would; Check that the fuel pressure regulator is:
1. Holding the correct pressure while running.
Ken could you review this procedure for me? Is there a guage I hook up or what?
2. Not leaking gas into the intake manifold through the vacuum hose.
Ken How would I verify this?
3. Not leaking down (bad injector) when not running.
Ken, would removeing an injector or all injectors, and checking
it for leaking while not running be how to do this?
4. Check that the O2 sensor line to the ECU is not shorted.
Ken could you review this procedure as well for me?
Can I do this with a voltmeter?
Thanks Ken!

Two different times for this same problem.
Thanks Mike!

If it sits there at idle, do you see black soot on the driveway below the exhaust pipe?
The answer to this is; YES ,Doug. There is black soot on the driveway below the exhaust pipe.
My vote is for the fuel pressure regulator, fairly inexpensive to replace. The second opinion, easier to check if you have a spare, would be the ECU (fuel injection controller).
Question: How much are these ECU (fuel injection controllers) , and is there a way to check the one that is on my van to verify it is bad?
Thanks, Doug

1. Unplug the O2 sensor
Question: How much are these, and is there a way to check the one that is on my van?
2. Change the oil.
Is this because the fuel will damage the motor components like before?
3. Check the throttle switch
Question: How much are these, and is there a way to check the one that is on my van?
Thanks Again, Bob
