Say what? True fog lights are mounted low, have a strong top cutoff and are designed to illuminate the road surface and not the fog particles in front of your face. (Hence the top cutoff.) As to your leaving your high beams on Until the "offending" vehicle passes... well Andrew, that makes you the deliberate offender. Not only is it, as you stated "downright dangerous", it's downright stupid. Now you have two vision impaired drivers heading for each other at highway speeds. Brilliant solution. (No pun intended.)
