Sorry bout that! A tilt is a canopy that goes on the back of a Double or single cab truck. Usually the whole assembly is called a tilt, w/ the metal support frame called hoops, & the top support slats that connect the hoops called bows. In older tilts, there are also end caps that go over the top of the bows at the hoops to keep the canvas from rubbing on the bows.

Tom-like I said, these parts are pretty obscure-some people think they are for "covered wagons" & don't know that vw even made these trucks or that they had the tilt option.
