As I remember from my '82 Diesel Vanagon, fuel lines were some type of metal. Looks like one could do the fuel lines with stainless steel tubing and Swagelok fittings. At points where rubber tubing must be used, Swagelok has some nice hosebarbs. I am sure that there are those who will disagree, but I have had hundreds of yards of chromatography gas distribution system (including hydrogen at 120 psig) done with SS tubing and Swagelok fittings. System ran w/o problems from 1994 until lab was shit down last year.
