Put them in the garbage....

Use The Right Stuff http://www.permatex.com/right_stuff/right_stuff1.asp

Period, this is the best (by far) sealing product out there... better than the recommended DIRKO/Curil K2 product (IN MY HUMBLE OPINION!!!!!!!).... (i had to redo one of my fist heads job lately, done with Dirko sealant...) You can use the Curil K2 on the heads studs or case half but not on the head gasket. I have seen strange and scary result with Dirko on head gasket..... remember, The right stuff is not cheap$$$

I have a bucket in the garage filled with metal part and head gasket part, 7 different combination, the bucket is full of NON phosphate free coolant... ONLY the one with The Right Stuff is hanging there.... it as been in there for about 8 months now...

mY 25 Canadian cents... Ben http://www.benplace.com/amc_head/amc9.jpg
