I got the headlight upgrade kit with 4-100watt bulbs from Frank Condelli

http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/hdltrela.htm

at the June-05 busfusion camp out this year... didn't have to pay the shipping cause Frank had them there for me to inspect. you can find the different parts and make up your own kit, or other vendors have the parts & kits. Frank's has worked just find for me.

I can't believe I'd been driving around for years with such crappy low lighting on this vanagon (my other westy's had H4's), and I live/travel in the country where deer and moose can jump out from the side of the road anytime. At first I thought that might be a little high on the low beam and bother oncoming drivers.... not so... if your lights are adjusted properly in the first place. You should get the same response as me.. a great improvement in juice to the bulbs and far better down the road and to the side lighting.... as for being bright to oncoming drivers.... I have yet to have anyone dip their lights at me. Thought I have had to flash some of those high output blue euro jobs.

a 4-100watt bulb dip, seems to help remind others of their high beams still being on... plus makes for a noticeable wink at other westy's.
