Hi Chris, Thanks for the note. You would know more about regular van seats then I would. I know more about Westfalia's. My motto is, "If I can't live in it then I don't want to drive it!" Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The bodykit was black before I purchased the van. I looks original to me. Is it not? Wishing you many miles of smiles! Todd Olson
