On the oil ...

During the winter (northern Maine) 20-50 just won't cut it. I'm using Castrol Syntec 5-50 and it works great. In that when it's cold the engine sees the lower number as the viscosity and when it's warmed up it sees the higher number as the viscosity, it does the job for cold starts and highway driving. Unfortunately, I've never found this particular multi-grade at a Wal*Mart. K-Marts, however, normally carry it. Of course, I only use Mahle or Mann filters.
