Subject: Crossover Pipe HELP!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello all!

Enjoying my new-to-me '84 thoroughly. I really do appreciate all of the information I have gotten from the list thus far. My present problem is this: The crossover pipe is broken at the end! And I know that they are currently unavailable from several sources. Including VW, as I called them today.

Anyone with a line on one of these or a reasonable facsimile, please let me know. I suppose some jerry-rig solution would be good to figure out, as many of us probably need this part. (And I know that this has been discussed, but there hasn't been any resolution except on a case by case basis. I'm even willing to put a little time into making some sort of replacement piece if I can get a good/new one to try and replicate with off the shelf parts.)

Please help me keep the gas in my tank!

Thanks,
