I highly recommend the ecode round headlights. In my 91 syncro westy, I used to always be frustrated driving at night. Now every time I drive at night I'm amazed at the difference.

3 12-gauge power cables with fuses from the battery to behind the grill a 10-gauge neg cable run the same way little plastic box attached behind the grill that holds 3 dual-output relays, triggered by the existing wiring, with a ground distribution bar VW SA quad grill with used outer lamp brackets hella inner lamps with either 55W or 100W bulbs Cibie outer lamps with 80/100W bulbs

bought the grill and some parts from vancafe.com. cibie lamps, relays from danielsternlighting.com

a cheaper way to go is to get just the two round headlight grill from older vanagons, wiring, relays, new lamps and bulbs.

dedicated wiring and relays are important. but most important probably is the better light pattern with the ecode round headlights. Best mod to my van yet.

good luck, Bill
