Gotta disagree on that Jeff.  I've had my 110V  MIG for many years and use it
very often.  True it will not penetrate heavy  metal for a good weld.  But,
for convenience and portability it's  unbeatable.  After over 10 years of
ownership and no repairs to the unit,  I'm satisfied with mine !
