Season Greatings to all. I have looked into the gas heater project for my van. It is do able but the gas heaters that I can get from my guru all have leaky fuel pumps. I have found out that fuel pump rebuild parts are still available from a type2 listee but he is out right now. I am awating a call when his new batch come in. To the point that it will probly be spring befor i get one installed. These are south wind heaters that v.w. sold as a option on the many air cooled models the guts are the same but the differences are in the configureation. ( bug, bus, sedan ect...) these worked great but will take some effort to install. Will keep the list posted as progress is made.

If you want a new one google south wind and it comes up stewart/warner site. They make heaters for all kinds of different applications. ( even your tank or jet fighter)
