I used to use the middle seat from my '84 7 passenger in my '85 Westy ... but it has the rigid back so, in order to have good access to the rear seat I had to slide it in facing aft.

I have since purchased a middle seat from Chris Turner that's like the one in this '84 Wolfsburg. Only an armrest on the right and the backs fold forward. I don't use it all the time but it sure is handy when I need it for additional passengers.
