John, Just my opinion based on what I have seen and/or heard in various VW magazines, websites and this mailing list -- worth everything you have paid for it. If you avoid using the VW logo or 'Volkswagen' you should be okay. There is a company selling classic bus parts that used to feature prominently at the top of their ad a really nice looking split window with the big VW logo shown. A few years ago they started blacking out the VW logo -- I assume the VW vampires had heartburn with the logo being used but not the bus itself. I haven't heard of any problems with the Vanagon.com stickers or the Vanagon T-shirts sold on the list. At all costs avoid calling them Volks-mugs. If you make them I want at least one.
