I have the 16's. I like them quite a bit. Impoved the handling immensely.

They're technically under-rated for the application, but a lightly-loaded non-westy (like mine) is unlikely to ever push those limits anyway. I'd be less comfortable putting them on a typical top-heavy, overloaded westy. Be prepared for a slew of heated "NO! NEVER!" responses. This is a touchy subject.

Dunno 'bout rheins, but the gowesty wheels are pretty tough. Lucas at gowesty has a pictures up of one that was run into a 12-inch concrete culvert at 40mph. It was dented, and the tire deflated, but it didn't fail badly and was apparently even repairable
