So several friends came over this evening and we had dinner then decided to
go over to a few friends' houses around town to say Merry Christmas and all
of that.  With six adults and my daughter, the only vehicle up to the task
was my Vanagon.  So, I was the designated driver and took everybody all over
town.  We had a good time and I got many Vanagon-related compliments from my
passengers.


Obviously nothing of any technical value here, but for one night my Vanagon
was as good as Santa's sleigh.  And while it wasn't really that much fun
being the sober responsible guy, driving everybody around to parties made me
happy that my idiosyncratic choice of transportation was an integral part of
Christmas Eve.

entertainment.
