There are different types of CF resins. I know because we used to sell some CF. UV Resistant Resins are 4-5X more expensive then the "regular" stuff. So it depends on if the guys selling it are using the good stuff for UV exposure, or not.

And the simple fact that Vanagon bumpers made of CF would probably cost around $1200-1400 EACH should end this discussion. I'm as big a weight weenie as they come, but I draw the line somewhere.
