There's no way they are being turned on by mistake. These people couldn't care less about others. They see all the OTHER oncoming foglights and see their glare, so know full well that they are doing the same thing. Which nust shows what sort of people they are!

Indeed. But such low-mounted lights are of very limited use, as they cast "solid" shadows from even the smallest irregularities in the road surface.

Some of these dorks use their fogs INSTEAD of headlights... really intelligent... others (the majority of offenders) run them in addition to the headlights. Many are also running drivinglights illegally 24 hours, wired so that they work with low beam (illegal, and I don't know how these vehicles pass their 6-monthly warrant-of-fitness checks); these are mostly pseudooffroaders like Mitsubishi RVRs, Rav4s and CRVs, fitted with big yellow light pods. -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
