I had a caliper stick / drag, and got that rotor hot enough to glow (it was dark by the time I stopped). I removed the wheel and tire (so the tire wouldn't blow) and slowly sprayed a fine mist of water on the rotor until it was cool enough to touch with bare hands. The rotor survived, unwarped, and is still in use today. If THAT didn't warp the rotor, I don't know what will...
