Aaron,

I have a 2002 EJ25 in my 1985 weekender and I can assure you that this
engine should do everything you want it to. 165 HP is a great improvement.

I installed 15" steel wheels and it rides great.
Second gear is a whole new ballgame.

i am looking to upgrade my stock syncro to a faster, more reliable
engine.  my current plan is to go subaru 2.5.  plan b is to find a
suitable replacement van, someone has done exaclty what i want to do but
doesn't want the van anymore.  then i can sell mine, buy theirs, and
probably save some money.

this van has been for sale a few times on ebay, and it's not far from

listmember?  (of course i'll email him eventually, but i'm asking y'all
first)  does anyone have any beta on this kind of engine install?  it's
not really a tiico.  i'm curious about ground clearance, vibration,
problems with the 50 deg angle, his description of the oil suck issue,
etc.

i really want a subaru, but maybe this is a better option?
