I am wondering if anyone out here in Vanagon land knows what size of bolts are required when hanging an LP tank under a Westy.

I just got a tank and now need mounting bolts.

Brian, the tank is held in with studs and nuts. Studs should already be there if it's a Westy. Welded in nuts in the floor pan for the studs if not a Westy. The use of studs is to control the length so not to have the ends of the bolts protruding into the flooring above. The size of the studs are 10mm x ?. I do not know the length with out measuring. The studs are not listed in the ETKA. Anyways, long enough to go through the welded in nut, a large thick flat washer behind the tank mounting tab, the mounting tab, lock washer, securing nut and a few mm to spare.

Cheers,
